Handcrafted canvas journal for use in planning, traveling, journaling, artwork, and more

This journal began it's life as a slightly irregular version of my hand-sewn journals with a bit of funky stitching. Initially, I was note going to prepare this journal for sale when I had the idea to paint freely on it, just for fun and practice. One thing led to another and it morphed into an intricate and fun design which more than redeems the minor flaws in my sewing :-)
My homemade journals are a unique and practical item that makes an awesome gift for almost any occasion or a nice treat for yourself! The durable notebook cover boasts a hand painted design and a strong elastic closure embellished with coordinating beads. This listing also includes removable hand-bound booklet inserts and a system of covered elastic to hold inserts in place. Convenient pockets in carefully selected cotton fabrics line the inside of the journal cover, front and back and serve well to store pens, pencils, and more.
